Jan 7, 2020 · We stayed at the Wishon Bass Lake Campground for one night. It was our first real camping trip. We were at Site 001, which is fairly small, but is in the best spot! Right across from the lake. All the other campgrounds were closed due to tree removal, so I assume the lake was extra chill because of this. The suit resulted in the Miller-Lux Agreement. For Bass Lake this required the Lake's owner to decrease the Lake level to 60% of full by September 15th and 50% by November 1st each year. The Bureau of Water Reclamation monitors this agreement. Wishon Campground has 35 campsites and is located along the North Fork of the Middle Fork of the Tule River in the Sequoia National Forest. Hossack creek also runs by the campground. There are 27 reservable campsites and the rest are first-come, first-serve. Campsites 20 and 21 are particularly sweet – right along the river.
