Had to lightly file the edges of the grip where it kind of sits recessed in the frame. Maybe like 2-3 passes with a fine file and it slipped right on no problem.

One told me I could use a 1911 officers model cap but that didn't even fit the spring. The tail on the C2 cap is slightly shorter, and the top is about half the thickness with a shallower recess in it. I've cut the tops down on full size caps to fit, but it's not an exact science. Looks like this is what you need.

I had to do a very slight blend to fit a JEM grip safety and some metal removal on the small tabs in the trigger slot top and bottom.
