Under these conditions, it is no wonder the battery dies rather quickly.I am surprised to hear from Sig that at full brightness the battery last only 77 hours. I ask if they have a list that details how much battery life is reduced per brightness level and they admit they do have that information, but they do not make it available to the public. I had one go 8 months on a battery on full bright in EVERY day carry mode, but most are well under that. The 20K hours thing is most likely estimated on a very low brightness setting. I purchased a new P365X slide with the suppressor height sights and the romeo zero elite sight this past summer and had to replace the original battery after about 3 months. I change all my RDS batteries first week of new year (unless I get the RDS later in the year). Problem solved. You have to completely remove the optic to change the battery. Basically, you can't replace the battery without then needing to re-zero.
